Tento proces objevil americk\u00fd vyn\u00e1lezce Charles Goodyear, kter\u00fd v roce 1844 poprv\u00e9 vyrobil vulkanizovan\u00fd kau\u010duk.<br>V pneumatik\u00e1ch se vulkanizace pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 ve dvou r\u016fzn\u00fdch oblastech: p\u0159i v\u00fdrob\u011b a p\u0159i oprav\u011b po\u0161kozen\u00fdch pneumatik. Co p\u0159esn\u011b je vulkanizace? Vulkanizace vy\u017eaduje p\u0159id\u00e1n\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00fdch l\u00e1tek (vulkaniza\u010dn\u00edch \u010dinidel) b\u011bhem p\u0159\u00edpravy zelen\u00e9 sm\u011bsi pneumatiky, aby mohly prob\u011bhnout p\u0159\u00edslu\u0161n\u00e9 chemick\u00e9 reakce.
